Have these people any intelligence or shame?

Intelligence? Yes. Shame? No. They seem stupid if you accept that the argument they are making is their true one. It is not. It is a red herring to simply string out and confuse even the most straight forward position. It is frustrating because of the other point - they have no shame. They will turn on a dime and argue the opposite of their previous position with only a slight change in subject matter. During these multiple hypocrisies they never bat an eye.

If you accept their true aim - to disrupt and destroy the power and prestige of the USA, then they are very intelligent. They have the art of deception and pettifogging down pat. They have the tactic of stealth, infiltrating our schools, churches, and other cultural institutions with the goal of destroying them, down pat.

I am often reminded of a quote I read 10 years or so ago which was attributed to Hillary or one of her mentors. It basically said that lies and deception are treasonous only if you lose. If you win, those same traits make you a hero of the revolution. They intend to win. We had better take them seriously and stop playing along with their games.

I agree wholeheartedly. Liberals love to play the chameleon game. They are on a perpetual high-spin cycle. No wonder it is easy to lose one's equilibrium, orientation, balance, sense of perspective, patience and fair play with them. One could describe their mental condition as "quantum logic," - capable of occupying multiple states at one and the same time. They are attempting to appease a broad coalition of diverse leftist-loon causes which overlap to some extent but which are not entirely consistent with each other. Liberals, after all, are the most selfish people in the United States. They will group together for a common cause so long as the other members of their "coalition" recognize and validate their specific grievances. Thus we see senior-citizen antiwar activists, for example, who also advocate national-socialized health insurance - at the expense of everyone else. They are very intelligent, indeed. But we must give ourselves credit for being able to turn one of their most deadly techniques - "deconstruction" - against them. (See David Horowitz's, "Deconstructing the Left.") In short, we are more intelligent and savvy than they are. I think the time has come to take off the kid gloves and to confront them whenever and wherever they spout their high spin, on whatever subject or political agenda. The liberal press will likely downplay or even ignore our efforts. This is easy for the liberals except at the local level where opposition protests are more visible, but we can throw the "mother of all sandstorms" into the national liberal machinery by continuing to intrude peacefully into the same pictures and photo ops. Let's see them, then, try to deny us OUR OWN unalienable right of free speech. Let's see them put their "pacifist" principles into practice - that's the scary and dangerous part - they are "pacifist" only towards their fellow travelers and assorted "useful idiots."
