The earlier Arab immigrants were Lebanese Catholics fleeing persecution by muslims. In the last 25 years or so, Muslims, more than a few Wahabis, moved in("there goes the neighborhood"). They are located especially close to the feet of these bridges.I think you're right about that.

If you've ever ridden the subways you'll know that a "Sick Passenger" is some homeless drunk guy being taken off the train.
Likewise for terrorism reports. "Just a couple of ME pranksters" really means "Your dumber than usual terrorists"

Never heard of threats to the Williamsburg; but I should note that the neighborhood called Williamsburg, in Brooklyn that is adjacent to the Williamsburg Bridge, is heavily Orthodox Jewish. My son used to live pretty close to the foot of the bridge in Brooklyn. Actually it's a very divers neighborhood, and there are a lot of Muslims there. I believe it is close to the mosque that got busted for illegal donations recently.
On the Manhattan side it is not too far from Wall Street.

"On the Manhattan side it is not too far from Wall Street."
its a slum on the NYC side.
I have to vent here, am I alone with the thought that NYC is wide open these days? Protests taking all the cops away from there regular assignments, this stunt diverting all attention, its just a matter of time
To: watchwoman
Prank, or a "diversion".
How many LE located at the three bridges?

We are under an orange alert, this is no time for foolish pranks such as this. These guys are f-ing idiots.

what does a terrorist attack on a bridge look like? I don't know. It could be mistaken for prank. Shoot first; ask questions later.
