Attorney Johnnie Cochran of O.J. Simpson fame was accused Thursday of legal malpractice for missing a deadline to file a lawsuit on behalf of a North Beverly woman injured during a routine gynecological procedure at Provident Hospital.

...Donald Shapiro, an attorney representing Burrows in the legal malpractice complaint, accused Cochran of "drawing on his name" to get hefty referral fees in the Chicago area, but failing to accept the legal responsibility that comes with it.

Young, American, conservative-transcender, cocky, and black. Don't like it? Sounds like a personal problem to me.

LOL, no problem with me. Rethink "transcender" please, I thought at first it was "transgender."

One lawyer in a small town starves. Two lawyers in a small town both get rich. I look forward to the day when the entire profession is driven out of business. A good start would be to make a rule that no lawyer could hold legislative or executive office. It's an obvious conflict of interest.

I think a more practical reform is for vermin shysters, like John Edwards or the Clintons, to temporarily resign from the bar while running from office. They would cease to be agents of the Judiciary and thereby not blatantly violate the Constitution's Separation of Powers requirements.

Upon leaving office they could re-enter the bar.

Now, now, we must now besmearch or denigrate the good names of our fellow mammal rats by comparing them with disgusting vile lawyers.

Cochran Faces Malpractice Suit

At first I thought it was filed by the citizens of Southern California, over the OJ thing.
