Frankly, dutchess, your coverage of today's Featured Freeper is a tad disappointing.
You know we are conditioned by the media - shovel-fed, rather than spoon-fed - to "understand" that those crazy right wing fanatics all are warped, and well - subversive and dangerous!
Your selection today rather shows the antithesis of that.
How could we be so wrong?!!
Mary, it is delightful to see and read about you and the beautiful family you have created, reinforcing our belief that Real America is alive and well. Those like you are producing the generation that will break through the Socialism Creep of several decades while we complacently allowed it to mar the landscape.
It is ones like you who typify America the Beautiful.
It is a joy to help usher you into the halls of Freeper's Finest!

Hmm, FreeTheHostages, do you really like Mozart or are you just saying that to get along with others on the thread today?Just curious. I know you all too well.

Oh, what gorgeous yellow roses, kay! Thank you for those sweet words - I did very little on this 'artistic' presentation today. Vignetted a few pictures. :)

Good morning, jw. It is extra lovely today, isn't it, and the music selections tend to take one away from the cares and troubles of the world - at least momentarily.

WOW...I love this profile...Good job dutchess.
Congratulations, ML, for doing something you enjoy so very much. I have always wanted to play the piano and it is on my list of things to do (take piano lessons) so I was not surprised to see that you have a student aged 65! I saw the movie Amadeus-what a tragic life he lived. And I was following the story for awhile that he actually died of raw pork poisoning...any thoughts on that?
Also, loved the movie Shine and wonder if you have ever played that T. piece that is supposed to have driven him "crazy".
Another pretty good quarterback:

Did you know that you had a patriotic song composed for you during WWII?
This song was used to encourage the use of the ration program and the purchase of treasury bonds during World War II.
Jolly Molly Pitcher
"Oh! Jolly Molly Pitcher, In your gingham gown,
Jolly Molly Pitcher, How you mowed em down;
Jolly Molly Pitcher, Brave enough for three;
And if you could do it Molly, Golly, so can we!"
