I was disgusted too. But, I was disgusted with Sean - he asked baiting questions & then answered them for Cong. Rangle who then was left with trying to refute what SH said were his views. SH was also the one who tried to turn it into a Dem/Rep issue - which it isn't. If SH wants to say that someone tried to gain political points in this discussion - it was SH who made it so.
I respect the Congressman for standing by his principles - even if I don't agree with him. It is never treasonous to speak your mind in this country - so get off the kick that only those that support W have free speech rights. Disagree with the idea - don't attack the person - no one listens to rantings about how everyone has to show their patriotism.

There is NOTHING about Rangel worth respecting, especially the moronic comments about the U.S. military.
Yes, it's admirable when someone stands by their views in the face of overwhelming opposition, UNLESS you're basically saying, "Don't confuse me with facts, my mind's made up".
Then you're just ridiculous, which describes Rangel to a "T".
Rangel is in such a hurry to oppose President Bush, conservatives, and Republicans that it doesn't matter what the facts are, those people are all still wrong.
Saddam Hussein could have had nuclear warheads on ICBM's and a plan to launch them at New York, clowns like Rangel would still oppose whatever this administration tried to do about it. And then point back at Bill Clinton claiming he was successful at something besides getting lucky with Monica. (And how much manhood did THAT take?)
