Bush I was a kind and decent man when that wasn't worth much.
Nevertheless, America would have voted him into office for another 4 years save for Ross Perot's split of Conservative support.
Here's hoping that Nader and Sharpton continue to bleed the Left.
Watching George H.W. Bush on newsclips is painful. Although I supported him, his lack of vision and conviction is more apparent now and appalling.

I would say George W. is a true leader who has the ability to MAKE decisions and follow through with them. What's wrong with that?
. . . Like father, like son . . . My, aren't we abounding in cliches. Of course there are so many on the other side who have to believe this is so, it's the only thing that gives them any hope. But unlike in 1992, there is no charismatic (
yech) Clinton figure now to deliver victory. Unless some new face magically appears or one of these bozos is transformed, who've you got?--only the likes of Dean, Kerry, Lieberman, Gephardt, Edwards, Sharpton, Mosley-Braun, Kucinich and the list goes on and on.
Also too, if we lived in a post 9-11 atmosphere back in 1992, I don't think Clinton would have won, a wet-behind-the-ears, lecherous, little-known governor would not be the type of candidate to make Americans feel secure. Unless a strong-leader type emerges among the dem field, G.W. is in like Flynn in 04.
