I am currently serving in the United States Airforce and I was recently called to serve my country in this war.
I know many people do not have a good opinion of this war and I can understand that. But the simple fact that people are not showing support for our tropps is very disheartening.I hear everyone saying bad things about why we are here and who is to blame, but everyone gets too busy with all that to support the people who are fighting to help provide them the freedom that gives them the right to say that. The one thing I have learned is that even though I am in a situation I may not like, sometimes I must look to the positive in this. That has become a difficult task when all - even more so when all we hear about are the antiwar and even anti Bush rallies. There is so much focus on the reasons why the US should not be in this war that it makes it tough for us military troops to keep our morale up.
I am disgusted that the American people are showing very little support for everyone over here. I am one of the lucky ones who is able to see what is happening on the news from time to time, but I am not liking what I am seeing. Hearin about fallen comrades on TV is bad enough, but knowing that people we are fighting for are hardly showing any support makes it difficult to move forward.Iam asking everyone to put aside their arguments for the time being, and support the troops who fight for their freedom.
Huh? This has to be a troll.
