If you are the enemy and there are 11,000 Marines unaccounted for that has got to give you pause to think....

Yes, WE did. Given the headling rush of the RG to the south, I don't think THEY had the same "inkling".

Expect tricks.

I'm guessing Wesley Clark didn't know about this portion of the plan.

I am baffled as to how we have kept it a secret as to where the II marine exped force is right now. I am thinking that because their normal commo is FUBAR, the Iraqis if they knew, would leak it to Al Jazeera so their folks would hear over the radio where the unit was.
I bet somebody is in for a really bad morning soon.

Or 11,000 Marines coming around your flank.. not a good thing if you are trying to protect Baghdad!
This is probably a gambit to make sure the chemical weapons don't get set off..

For days now we have had control of two, and perhaps three, airfields in western Iraq. What do you suppose we've been doing with them?

Word was just getting around last night, which was probably what Gen. Franks had planned.

I'm guessing he did and was helping with the media dis-information campaign. I still don't much like him though.
