"Lets also not forget, the right to protest is exactly what those solders are fighting for. Just because we might not agree with there opinion, doesn't mean they should not be able to express it."

"There is nothing in the constitution that says we cannot protest our government, economy or our leaders."

Sheesh, how could we possibly forget that?

You guys always enjoy deflecting criticism by answering The Question That Nobody Asks. I don't recall E.D. demanding internment, beat-downs, or even forced bathing. They're just reminding the folks at home who's footing the bill.

And from the responses, it doesn't sound as if anyone's too proud of the Sugar Daddy writing the checks. Heavens, why not?

It's fun to watch appeaseniks invoke the First Amendment like mobsters invoke the Fifth; despite the former group not actually being on trial. Persecution fantasies aside, skeptics just want the story:

Why are you doing this?
What good do you think you're doing?
Are you really funded by Communist and Marxist groups?

But sticking to the actual questions isn't nearly as fun as irrelevant, righteous posturing behind the First Amendment. It's kind of a twofer: avoid embarrassment, get to say "Constitution" now and then.
