The original 13th Amendment to the Constitution for the United States forbad lawyers from serving in any government capacity.

"If any citizen of the United States shall accept, claim, receive, or retain any Title of Nobility or Honor or shall without the consent of Congress, accept and retain any present, pension, office, or emolument of any kind whatever, from any emperor, king, prince, or foreign power such person shall cease to be a citizen of the United States, and shall be incapable of holding any office of trust or profit under them, or either of them."

"Title of Nobility" & "foreign power"

First off what does B.A.R. stand for?
British Accredited Registry.

No wonder the original 13th was taken out of the Constitution.

That is false on several fronts.

There was no "Original" 13th amendment. It was never ratified.

Even that amendment does not bar lawyers from government. How ridiculous can you get? Two thirds of the writers of the Constitution were lawyers. Most presidents have been lawyers. Same is true of Congress. You think law credentials are given by foreign powers? LOL.

A government without lawyers is not a government rather something like the MOngolian hordes.

You comment is an absurd statement when it rises from the depths of total meaninglessness.

Lawyers stand before the BAR to argue before the judge. The "original" 13th was never in the constitution. And don't post the crackpot links which "prove" it was, been there seen through that. They are specious.
