[history]
March 27, 2003 -- WASHINGTON - U.S. officials are carefully studying reports that at least three GIs were "executed" - shot between the eyes - after surrendering with their hands in the air to Iraqi forces.
Pentagon sources said new details were emerging about the incident Sunday in which 12 soldiers were caught in an ambush in a town south of Nasiriyah.

I realize that this is hard (terribly hard) on the families, and my heart and prayers go out to them. At the same time, I'm glad that the story of the Iraqi murderers is coming out. Americans need to see the true face of the enemy...and these murderers have done an outstanding job of showing it.

Beautiful post man, I dont know where you find these things but please keep them comin.
On a more personal note, things like this require the liberal use of napalm. One generous application and they'll be beggin for us to accept white flags :)

(((heavy, heavy heart)))
Prayers for the families and for all our troops.
Where is the outrage among those who claim to be so concerned about human rights? Where is the pity for the millions of people who had lived under the rule of these thugs for 34 years?

Does this surprise anyone? Should it? Look how he has treated his own people.
And again I must ask, what do the Pro-Saddam demonstrators have against the Iraqi people?

They are too busy fretting over how we made prisoners at Gitmo wear those cheesy orange jumpsuits. You know, this whole thing has just really impressed on me how I will just never understand the mentality of most of the world. I mean, Hussein and his minions aren't even subtle about their atrocities (shooting their own people when they surrender, raping and brutalizing POWs, gassing civilians), and yet the U.S. is evil. Nutjobs with bombs strapped to them blow up busses of innocent men, women, and children in Israel and it's the Israelis who are evil because some American ignoramous stepped in front of a moving tractor and reaped the predictable consequences of stupidity.
I really, really, don't understand the world. Must be my "cowboy" American mindset.

Where is the outrage among those who claim to be so concerned about human rights? Yeah, and where are the mamby pamby war and administration protestors, that still made such a big deal of differentiating..."But we support our troops!" Why don't I hear anything? /sarcasm

It is time to take off the gloves in this war. These people dont care a rip about the Geneva Convention and have no concept of humane treatment of prisoners. Eye for an eye, if they execute one of our men who was taken prisoner we execute one of theirs. After all have we forgotten that we are basically fighting terrorists, who did not hesitate to kill our civilian population when they invaded our country on September 11th. The best way to fight an enemy is to adopt their tactics and bring it home to them. This is a war that they began and we need to end it quickly. There can be nothing pleasant about war except its ending.
