Lost in the news of war was an pilot killed at Randolph AFB in San Antonio Texas in San Antonio something like two hours before the war went off last Wednesday. He had 3100 hours flying time and it was an accident - where everything that could go wrong goes wrong. When you think about landing and taking off at something like two hundred miles per hour, you have to think about the dangerous nature of the equipment involved in defeating the Iraquis and . . . well there you go.
