There were early reports of 1st and 2nd Marines, and UK 7th armored going north, east of the Tigris (between Tigris and Iran border). I'll be looking for the books on this war to see what really went down! Anyway, with so few refugees, perhaps the need to protect borders just doesn't exist (no need to keep other counties from asserting their military force to protect their borders, because there is no threat)
