Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running over the weekend and Monday, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

It wasn't meaningless chatter. I went to an auction and didn't post my 300 insightful messages.

Ali is sweeping of the ledges again. More Bagcam updates as needed.
And the Adam-12 car passed by again - TWICE

It's a reflection of less information coming out of the combat zone as things are reaching a head. Reporters can't talk as much, etc.The calm before the storm?

Humor break: Jay Leno just read the fine print from a bottle of French's Mustard: "We're not French, even though we're yellow."

why haven't we been able to see him live lately? think they don't want to show the area around him or something? Check this out. Rick's picture on their website is a screenshot. Bless his heart.

it's 4th ID (mech)..not armor...just being petty...
it depends....the jet lag thing won't get factored in...but it might take more than two days to get the tanks online.
I'm hoping we can bring the guys straight to Umm Qasr and skip KC...wouldn't that be nice???
otherwise, we have to give them 3 days or so to get to BAG from KC...which will have them not near the action for maybe a week. too long IMO
who in the blue blazes was just singing?????

Won't leave until we see the screamer.
