IT IS ALL ABOUT HOW YOU TREAT THE PROTECTORS OF OUR LAND.

I assume you have all see the reports about how Sears is treating its reservist employees who are called up? By law, they are required to hold their jobs open and available, but nothing more. Usually, people take a big pay cut and lose benefits as a result of being called up... Sears is voluntarily paying the difference in salaries and maintaining all benefits, including medical insurance and bonus programs, for all called up reservist employees for up to two years. I submit that Sears is an exemplary corporate citizen and should be recognized for its contribution.

I suggest we all shop at Sears, and be sure to find a manager to tell them why we are there so the company gets the positive reinforcement it well deserves. Pass it on.

I proudly shop at Sears. I've always liked Sears, even as a kid picking out my Xmas toys from the cataloug!

Bought a new Kenmore washer/dryer just last year. I used to make Kenmore side by side freezer/frige when I worked at Whirlpool in college.

Listening to Hackworth on Hugh Hewitt. He's really turning into a jerk. The best moment was after he blasted Rummy and all the military brass...Hugh asked him if he would admit to being wrong if the conflict ended in two months. Hack just beat around the subject for a while and then accused Hewitt of 'Goose-Stepping'.

I'm ok with a different opinion, but blasting away and then refusing to admit that you would be wrong if things turn out differently then you say they will is completely unacceptable. (Plus he called Rummy a dummy). I'm done listening to Hackjob.

I have lost all respect for Hack. None of these jerks should be bashing our leaders when we're in the middle of a war - (1) comforts the enemy, (2) feeds right into the "anti-war" protests...

The Centcom briefings give the liberal press the opportunity to show their bias to the whole world. It's priceless. Same thing for C-SPAN, where hateful Democrats call in on the Republican line pretending to be disgruntled conservatives, or call in on the "Others" line pretending to be anti-GOP independents. These tactics are causing them to lose independent/undecided voters.
