Including most of the old Warsaw Pact. Who'd a thunk it?

I love that Blair is making that point. It's one thing for President Bush to say it, but it falls on many more ears that need to hear it when Blair says it and says it strongly.

What was the statistic Blair just said about 400,000 children under the age of 5 have died in Iraq due to starvation, etc. He named the timeline of that but I didn't catch it.
I'm working on a letter to editor and need that timeline. Help anyone. Thanks.

The press can not remain isolated from the people. They're an incestuous, sick pack.

Thanks for the info. You are right. I have never heard anyone in the administration say it would be a cake walk.
However, I have seen a report that an admiral out in the gulf right now said it would be a quick war. That is about the only "official" thing I have seen on this subject from a USA government representive.

Blair is just so plain-spoken with the truth. He's great. Goofy reporter insists on why other western countries are acting the way they are. Blair just stating what is true for us, and in the future we will have to try to figure out why the Germs, Frogs, and Russkies acted like WEASLES!!

Q: If you are so secure in justness of cause, why haven't you won support of friends like the French....
Prez: this is a vast coalition that believes in this cause...we have plenty of western allies...ally after ally have stood with us...extrememly proud of their participation.
Tony: strength of our alliance...yes there are disagreements...bear in mind 2 things...there is a part of Europe that is against...virtually all new members are in support...2nd point: I understand hesitation. War is bloody...SH was given 12 years to disarm...brutalized his own people and threatened with weapons...if we wanted to take a stand, we have to act...tried diplomatic...people do know that this is a brutal regime...we do this in the full knowledge...brutal regime causing hardships for Iraqi children...
If world walks away, if we back down, think of the signal it gives every brutal dictator...huge disservice to future generations to walk away now.

"...but it falls on many more ears that need to hear it when Blair says it and says it strongly." YES!!! I had lunch yesterday with two friends who are soooo worried about the perceptions around the world of the United States....how everyone hates us.....MAN, I WAS STEAMING! And, trying to explain what "leadership" was.

That general shouldn't have said it would be quick. Having said that however, there is a certain amount of psy ops that goes on and reporters just don't seem to understand that's been done since the first war ever fought.

"Incestious pack" is right. And yet they are the annointed ones who think they know more than informed fly-over Americans. They've been outed this time.
To: Carolina
Did you hear that ahole on Sky reporting from Camp David. He used hte 6 or 7 days thing agaist the administration. Unbelievable.
To: Michael81Dus
Ok, I shut up, I should not have quoted the media. I regret my fault. :-) Don't shut up! It's good to be able to debate, that's how we ferret out the truth among the lies!!
To: Peach
