AlGore is un-important & The Dixie Chicks are un-American.
I don't normally watch American Idol, but tonight I have seen more patriotism and pride in our country from the entertainment industry than I have seen in a long, long time. The competitors singing as a group and with heartfelt emotion "God Bless the USA".

It's like this Algore: Dixie Chicks can say whatever they want, and the consumers can say whatever they don't want.

As Rush keeps saying over and over: "The Constitution gives each of us the right to say anything we want but it doesn't give anyone the right to be listened to", so STFU Al, go crawl back under your rock. You and Bill did enough damage to this country.

Oops, forgot to add the following:
"They were made to feel un-American and risked economic retaliation because of what was said,'' Gore said. ''Our democracy has taken a hit. Our best protection is free and open debate.'' Yeah right, what do you think of the free and open debate or lack of free and open debate in the US Senate concerning the nomination of Miguel Estrada and other Bush judicial nominees? How about the US Senate Democrat filibuster? Yes, our democracy, or rather Republic, 'has taken a hit'.

MTSU student Ada Egenji agreed. She said she noticed that peace rallies haven't gotten much coverage since the war started last week. I laughed so hard I choked and saw spots. Damn, that idiot almost killed me!

"....they risked economic retaliation because of what was
said."----
------Don't be unnecessarily dense, Al. This is a capitalist country and everyone risks "economic retaliation"
for "what was said". You do a bad job painting a house and you probably won't get paid. You do like the Dixie Chicks and pander shamelessly to a foreign audience and it's just like coming out with an album of 12 terrible, dissonant songs. No one wants to buy it. Get all dramatic about it and call it "economic retaliation" if you like, but it's just the marketplace. Something people like Gore don't understand anything about.
To: Timesink
Gore said JESSE JACKSON&CO. threaten the true meaning of democracy because representatives - through various media outlets - try to stamp out opposing views with financial retaliation.
Has anyone called the reverend to let him know.

This is the same jackass that wanted to
pass a federal law labeling the music of Frank Zappa, Twisted Sister, and John Denver.
God, I'm glad he's gone and forgotten.

Or what about the threats against Savage on MSNBC? Oh, I forgot those don't count since their not intended to ''... risked economic retaliation because of what was said... Our best protection is free and open debate.''
Sad, but true the left has not brain.
