Hysteria - yes, that's it. Deperation. Anything to protect Saddam. ANYTHING. That is how both have acted. What is Chirac's weakness? Probably money. Saddam probably gave Chirac a healthy finder's fee for the Osirak reactor, weapons, etc. And maybe supplied him with young things while the cameras were rolling.

I was trying to think who else had this type of attitude...belligerent criticism with an undertone of hysteria...and I remembered.

Another one who sounds like this is that human shield guy O'Keefe (the one with the tattooed tears on his face).

OK...I am going back to my question I brought up the last time we had a discussion of Ritter on this forum.

In his interview with a television network (can't remember which one) he made reference to the CHILDREN'S prison that he had seen, and how he wouldn't talk about it becuse it would convince people to go to war. He intimated that he had been there as part of the inspection process.

Now, I ask mysself, why didn't anyone else on his team talk about that prison? Did Ritter perhaps go there alone, as the guest of one of his minders? And what was he shown and what did he do at that children's prison? And was any of that videotaped?
