CNN's favorite general, Wesley Clark, has also been heard to opine that our troops are getting bogged down in Iraq. His competence to judge American generals is questionable since his command was limited to working for NATO. We prefer to hear from American generals. Clark's contribution to international relations consisted of mistakenly bombing the Chinese embassy in Belgrade.

I took a look at democraticunderground.com and most of the left wing people there are hoping we lose and they honestly equate the life of a republican guard soldier with that of an American. They are also talking about if we win they will move to New Zealand!

One more reason to gloat over a win. But I'm not surprised they equate an RG with an American. They regard our servicement as parochial, illiterate rednecks and themselves as sophisticated citizens of the world. It's funny that those who cry the loudest about American arrogance are the clearest example of it.
