During high school, it's important to keep as many doors open as possible." This has to be one of the most inept attempts to justify the unjustifiable that I've seen in quite a while. Teach them to read. Teach them to write. Teach them math. Teach them science. But quit wasting their time and the taxpayer's money teaching this tripe.

This is not the function of government schools anymore. These days, many school districts see social engineering as their primary mission. This is why educrats complain about homeschoolers not being properly "socialized". The NEA wants to create our children in its own image.
