The other two Chicks' main motivation has been to see young kids pick up an instrument. They have been an inspiration to a lot of children. Natalie, on the other hand, has always just wanted to be a star. She should've quantified her aspiration a bit without getting cozy with Sheryl Crowe and stepping on the flag.

The other two actually own the band, whereas Natalie's just an employee, right? They should just fire her and replace her with someone else. Imagine the two of them with, say, Shania Twain. That'd be a money-making bonanza supergroup.

Yep, that'd be what I'd recommend. I heard Charlie Daniels in an interview being asked about the controversay and all he'd say is, "Well, I know those girls." As if to say, he's not going to diss them for Natalie saying something really stupid.

I know how hard the sisters worked to get their music in front of a national audience. Since the age of five they have been learning those instruments. They are unbelievably good. And they are highly respected among musicians. No one plays their instruments for them at any time, when doing session work, putting together an albumn or when they are on tour.

It is a dang shame. Maybe they should've hired someone to take a good reading of their audience. Seventy percent are bonafide Freeper material.
