This may tie in with the news of a column of vehicles moving south from Baghdad. Could it be that this column is not coming out to fight with our troops -- but to try to get to a position that is UPWIND of them?

On the ball thinking - thats a new, and very possible angle. The wind from the sandstorms is blowing out of the West - so it is at our troops backs. A very good wind if your going to have chem/bio weapons thrown at you from downwind.
