Against actual armed opposition moving 25 miles a day is moving at supersonic speed, in terms of military history.

What Iraqi "tactic" is working? The one where they try to stop us from moving and die in droves? I guess that "tactic" is working.

You obviously have never had to drive in formation with hundreds of other vehicles in a 60 mph sandstorm. Throw in a river crossing and a few hundred prisoners to search, a few firefights, and all of a sudden 25 miles seems reasonable.
