I agree with your assessment of their intentions, but I also think a number of the anti-war folks will use this incident to echo the sentiments of that father in Baltimore who publicly blamed W for his son's death.

Many here on FR think that the American people should not be exposed to these atrocities because it is "Iraqi propaganda" and designed to demoralize our troops.

The ones who feel this way cannot be convinced by logic-- I remain convinced that the opposite effect will happen and America will become more outraged by this sub-human behavior.

But can anyone with a brain be surprised?
We knew that this regime was PURE EVIL.
We justified a pre-emptive war based on that ver assumption.
Every atrocity proves us right.
