I hope you are right and their numbers will drop but I doubt it as so many are on the I don't like anything Bush does bandwagon. I am sickened by all of them, they are more concerned about freeing Mumia than supporting our brave young men and women.

This is a true time of decision for our country and for other countries. This is not like Vietnam partly because the terrorists have taken the fight to our shores. The level of naivete we could afford in the Vietnam era is not available to us: we must reign in the protestors or we will die as a country.
A statement such as that of Mr. Moore goes a long way towards encouraging Iraqi resistence: only if we truly ostracize such idiots is there hope for our survival. The greatest hope is a relatively swift war (and of course I don't mean days...) followed by graphic exposure of the truth of our side back when we battled France, Germany, Russia, and the "peace" protestors over what to do. They need to eat alot of crow.

Saw an MSNBC reporter (Bob Arnot??) interviewing a Marine yesterday afternoon, and he mentioned the fake surrender treachery to the guy, and asked if it made him nervous.
THE MARINE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT. He was confused at first, and then said he hadn't heard about it. Then he was just...quiet. I dunno for sure, but I'm thinking that all that was in his head was "I'm gonna kill those mother$&#@ers!!"

CNN and Clark?
It is like they can't wait for bad news to get out if it is true.
Our troops don't hear this, Thank God.
Have class and dignity and tell the families and then let the families decide about a media circus.

The embedded reporter traveling with the Army on Fox News says he does not tell the guys certain things he goes by his gut and can;t tell them. So maybe we have some more classy, dignified reporters.

As swords seen flashing in the sun on Guadalcanal when the Japs beheaded US POW's sealed the fate for tens of thousands of Japanese throughout the remainder of the war in the Pacific.

It is known already that some were executed. Why are they harping this like they hope it will tick off troops.
To: teletech
If this IS true, from now on, WE TAKE NO PRISONERS! I appreciate the sentiment, but this would be what our enemy wishes. That would make their army much less likely to surrender; we want them to have a choice: surrender and live; fight and die.
This is the same tactic tried by the Fayadeen when they attacked under cover of a white flag. They hoped it would make us fire on white flags - the message they want to send to their own troops: "don't put up a white flag, they'll shoot you."

some of the dead soldiers have what looks like contact wounds...since the pictures aren't that clear, I cant say for sure. but I'd bet on it.
they way the skin is split on the forehead is a classic sign.

Makes you want to eat Republican Guard flesh raw Perhaps we should refer to these guys as the Liberal Democrat Guard, since both are just as evil and socialist. And we all know that Tiny Tom, Pelosi, Teddy, et al, are just praying that Saddam's forces wipe out our marines. They can profess to support our troops all they want, but we know what ugliness lies in their hearts.

The savages at Indymedia and DU are falling over themselves trying to justify these murders and, in several cases, even the (probable) rape of female captives. The fedayeen scum are terrorists, not resistance fighters. Any found alive should be shot out of hand, and it is quite legal to do so. When we are finished with Saddam and his devil-spawn, we must settle accounts with the traitors and fifth-columnists in this country who have done so much to support Saddam and his reign of terror.

You are obviously an invader here, and a Saddam supporter, since you equate the fedayeen murderers with Iraqis in general.
The killers' perceptions and motives, even if you miraculously have the clairvoyance to articulate them, are not, in and of themselves, a justification for war crimes. Otherwise, the same principle (such as it is) would apply to us, and you and your fellow indy-media image-robots would not want that.

I have never liked the idea of women in combat. In that particular part of the world, it is very unwise to have women fighting.

It should come as no surprise to anyone that Iraqis will want to kill those they see as invading enemy forces. I don't see why people are so shocked at this, after all this is a war. You are disingenuous in the extreme.
Torturing, mutilating, and then executing prisoners of war is not justifiable for any civilized human being.
So am I to gather that you are such an uncivilized one?

When we are finished with Saddam and his devil-spawn, we must settle accounts with the traitors and fifth-columnists in this country who have done so much to support Saddam and his reign of terror. Amen. We have to acknowledge at this point that our liberal enemies aren't just people with different opinions and a different ideology. They are EVIL, as evil as the Iraqi criminals they find common cause with. ANYONE who continues to insist that our President is a war criminal and that our troops are baby killers is a complete moral degenerate and reprobate of the highest order, a sick and twisted freak. When I see these virulent rats protesting in the street, it is more than I can bear. When I encounter any of them, I want to shove a crucifix in their face to make them shriek like the demons they are and make them flee.
The depth of my outrage and indignation at the obscene and heinous actions of Saddam's gangsters knows no bounds... but what I feel toward the socialists in our country is far, far greater. These are people who, in normal times, look just like you and me. You see them on the street, at the supermarket, in the restaurant, at the mall. They look far removed from the scum in Iraq, but their outward appearance is nothing but a disguise. Underneath their masks, they are every bit as evil as every terrorist on the planet, and when events such as this war force them to take off those masks, this becomes obvious to all.

Get real!! I am simply pointing out that their behavior should be expected. They are not known for their kindness and compassion over there, and they will torture and kill any of our troops they can get their hands on. How pointing this out makes me a SADDAM SUPPORTER makes no sense. You are looking for enemies where there aren't any buddy.
