"...they don't want people associated with the old crowd."
Does that mean we'll see a fair and balanced Connie in the future?

Chung has a contract, worth about $2 million a year, that has more than a year left.Chung will seek free agency in the ILL, the Irrelevant Liberals League, at most CNN can hope to obtain a conservative player to be named later. This is series....hugh stuff.

I forced myself to sit through a couple Chung shows. I could not believe how unprofessional she was. I could not keep track of the number of slips and mistakes she made (looking at the wrong camera, mispronouncing common words, not able to construct a coherent sentence.) Aaron Brown should be next. All I can remember of him is his interview of Michael Moore. Moore suggested Bush should be killed while Brown nodded with neither agreement or disagreement. Journalism to CNN is never challenging our enemies and always challenging our patriots.

Her rating has been rising, yet they canned her. That really makes lots of economic sense. NOT.

"Connie was hired by the old CNN crowd," the associate said. "There's a new crowd at CNN now, and they don't want people associated with the old crowd."This is exactly bass-ackwards. Connie was hired by the new CNN crowd, the AOL lackeys, who so totally FUBARed the place that they all got fired. Then all the old CNN crowd came back.
Of course, the old crowd doesn't really have a clue on how to beat Fox any more than the AOL drones did, but at least they're getting rid of the bigger embarrassments.
By the way, ten bucks says she files an age discrimination suit.

Ever watch the Connie Chung show? A four year old could come up with more interesting and probing questions. At one point an interviewee said "The murders are definately unrelated." Without a pause Ms Chung asked, "Sir, have the murders been linked in some way?" She didn't get canceled for any reason other than she sucked at her job and put on a terrible news show.

Although CNN asked her to stay in some other capacity

Bada Bing!
"Jim, CNN just fired Connie Chung."
"Why, Bones?"
"They ran out of bear manure!"
Want a break from war news? Go to Stark Trek for a laugh or two. Then come back refreshed and loaded for bear whether he goes in the woods or not!
