We should try to dig up articles about the corruption of the Russians; Hell, we know that Belgium and france are knee deep in it in Africa with Rwanda et al, but Russia seems to be overlooked (even thought they'd sell the grandma for a bottle of vodka) probably to keep it on the right track to disarmament. I'll go on the Russian dirt hunt.

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL: BELARUS SELLS ARMS TO TERRORISTS
11:19, 29/04/2002
http://www.charter97.org/eng/news/2002/04/29/19

In his recent article for the popular “The Wall Street Journal” Mark Lenzi wrote that terrorists get weapons from the very center of Europe – Belarus. This country, he writes, was called by the US Secretary of State Colin Powell Europe’s only rogue state. During the forthcoming talks between Putin and Bush this issue had to be included into the meeting’s agenda. It is namely through the solution of the Belarusian issue that Kremlin may help Washington combat international terrorism. George Bush’s Administration needs to work out a strategy on dealing with Belarus, which shipped last year the deadly weaponry to the Islamic fundamentalists.

"The failure of US policy makers to comprehend the veiled aggressiveness and hostility towards the United States inherent in Sino-Russian strategy and the belief that the political and economic reforms in Russia and the partial introduction of capitalism in China have foreshadowed these countries' development into real democracies, have eroded the effectiveness of US policies in the foreign affairs, defence, intelligence and counter-intelligence fields. US policymakers have recklessly accepted the premise that Russia and China are no longer their enemies, but are rather potential allies and partners fully deserving of US support. Only countries like Iran, Iraq and North Korea - which (ironically, in this context) work secretly with Russia and China - are still considered potential adversaries.

US policymakers should urgently re-examine their assumptions about the 'progress' of Russia and China 'towards democracy'. They should take account of Sino-Russian strategy and should recognise that the long-term strategic, political and economic threat comes from a Sino-Russian axis and associated participants like North Korea, Iran, Iraq and Syria. The Russian and Chinese leaders are still committed to their objective of world domination and believe that, disguised as 'democrats', in accordance with Leninist teaching, they will be able to achieve it..."

Yep, why would Putrid bring up something that could only embarrass Russia. Doesn't make sense.

I'd be interested in reading your thoughtful outline of the operation of Russian government, its connection--if any--to organised criminal activity, and Vlad's position in the matter. Is he in....or out; does he profit....or is he afraid?

Rather than bluster about some glint of tinfoil, add some knowledge--if any you have--to the discussion.

Vlad's late actions merit deep analysis. One interpretation suggests that he is in grave danger; the other, that he is simply a creature of party dialectic. Divining the truth is important to our foreign policy; and, thus, important to me.

So try being constructive. Spew forth what you know, the basis of your knowledge, and what can be expected in the future.

Before you attack what I posted, you should do a little research.

It would also be a good idea for you to brush up on your English a bit before you post, since I cannot understand most of what you posted. Perhaps you could phrase it differently and post it again.

As far as quiting this forum, that is your choice. FreeRepublic is a great forum, you should give it a chance. Don't leave just because you don't agree with something I posted. I would add however, if you should decide to stay, you should follow forum rules. (i.e. NO profanity)

You go on and on about intellectuals, yet your posts to me consist of nothing but idiotic insults that are characteristic of a 5 year old who's only response to the facts presented before them is "nah ah". Instead of just saying I'm wrong, act like an intellectual and provide evidence or and arguement that supports your claim. Grow up and respond in an intellectual way or stop posting to me. Good Day Sir.
