You are demanding that the government protect citizens from themselves. If women get in the way of doing what needs to be done, then they shouldn't be at the front. If torture of women is the problem - rather than torture of POW's - then that's a whole different subject.

My point exactly, caving to to likes of Patsy Scroeder, ACLU, NOW during the Clinton era, we came to this point to ask the President what to do about this situation.
I am/was gainst sending women in the first line of combat since day one for the very reason we have this discussion now. What exactly women want to prove anyways?...that they no matter what can be on equal level with men?

I am a 6'5"/320 pounder and I am still waiting to meet the female counter part to "take" me down.(BTW i am also black belt in karate among others)My wife is excluded!.

Well...if we are going to discuss the topic...do you really think that the Iraqis don't rape men as well? If you review Lawerence of Arabia and various historical documents...this has been the standard policy of Arab dictators. Anybody that surrounders to Arabs...is putting themselves at risk. You might as well fight to the death...because their handling of you as a prisoner will be the most unpleasant experience of your entire life. Given the choice of a POW of Germans, Russians, Japanese or Arabs....Arabs will be the last choice each time.
