Some of those are pretty good.
They should be decent since they are drawn from many Arab publications. Al Jezeera just hosts and disseminates them.

I'm surprised that some of the humor comes across, such as the Brit flier wondering where the flowers are.
Actually, these cartoons are no worse--and in some ways, not nearly as bad--as what you'd see in the American media.

Remember how the U.S. bombed All Too Queer's offices in Afganistan by "mistake"? It looks like another "mistake" is in order.

they missed this one....

They forgot the one where hook-nosed American soldiers use Muslim children's blood to make Passover pastries. I understand that sort of thing's a real knee-slapper in certain circles.

"Incompetence and disputes among Arab rulers wasted Arab wealth." (caption to the last cartoon)
How true! 20 or 30 years from now when the modern world is running its machinery on hydrogen cells and the only people who are using oil on a large scale are the poor countries, how pizzled will the Arab/Islamic world be then? These guys have inherited the largest windfall of wealth in the history of the world and they won't leave their descendants a pot to piss in. The sooner we shift from the oil paradigm, the sooner those wretches return to the scrapheap of History.

I can't help laughing at all these, they are great.
Clearly illustrates our differences; I wonder how many "western" cartoons will be allowed in Sandmaggot countries?
