This is a damn shame..I lived there for yrs and spent much time in those mountains alone. I feel like I would have to carry a 44 now.

Many do, good thing AZ has an open carry law and a CCW now.

I had heard that the local rangers at montezuma pass where now attempting to arrest citizens that were armed in the hachucas due to fears over the growing local "vigilante" border groups!! I think that is an outrage!!
One of the things I personally luv about az is the open gun laws ie right to carry.
