3,000 Rally For Troops

Korean War veteran Don Wylie attended a pro-war rally Saturday because he wants American troops to know they have support.

"I believe in America, and I'm sick and tired of people demonstrating against this," Wylie said. "We're behind them."

Wylie's opinion echoed across the Expo Building at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds on Saturday afternoon, where organizers estimated 3,000 people attended the Rally for America.

Too bad all three classes of the state HS basketball championships were going on during the time this was held, or attendance would have been much higher.
