I wish that were true, but it's not. John (I marched with Martin) Lewis is a D, as is Denise Majette, and I think there's one more on the House side. But Majette is much better than her predecessor, Jihad Cyndy McKinney, who several FReepers worked against in the primary in favor of Majette. Majette has the potential to be a semi-reasonable black southern Democrat, though the jury is still out (not enough voting record yet, but she says some amazingingly sensible things, for a Democrat, especially after being used to McKinney).

Oops....confused and dazed....forgot about her and Lewis....Oh well...almosta clean sweep...McKinney was targeted by the GGOP with Denise as the defacto replacement....no other way to replace McKinney in that district....

I know - I live here. We used to be in Newt's district (Old GA 6th), then woke up one morning (not) represented by McKinney. A living nightmare!
