Basra is Iraq's second largest city. The propaganda value of control, with grateful residents, is enormous.

While I agree this is encouraging, let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Baghdad awaits. I agree. Baghdad is waiting and the American and British troops need our prayers for that battle! But after everything that has happened the past few days we needed this! Thank you British Soldiers!
