I certainly hope he faces death. He has an appointment with Allah and I don't want him to be late.

Service personnel under the Uniform Code are entitled to defense counsel and a jury by their peersWould 6 members of 101st Airborne Division be considered his peers. Don't military courts only use six jurrors.

Too bad they can't execute the lawyer too. Especially since it will be a Democrat lawyer.

I'm a 19 year USAF veteran. I'm pretty sure the UCMJ allows the accused a civilian attorney if he can pay for it or one steps forward to take the case. If that is the case ole' Johny may yet rear his ugly head.

On the other hand...after watching this disgusting display this morning and seeing the father of the soilder lost in the helicopter crash look into a CNN camera and tell President Bush he had taken his only son from him, tonight on NBC their was an interview with the parents of Shana Johnson, the black female POW.
Class, integrity, honor...just a few words to under-characterized how these people presented themselves. Made it clear they were immigrants who came to this country and felt the need to serve.
Sad yet heartwarming at the same time. You want all of our POW's to return safely but after watching this you really, really hope this young lady is okay.

Every Muslim group in America will go to the mat for this POS, frantically beating the bushes for donations. His "cause" will be a staple on the Upper West Side cocktail party circuit, and I fully expect to start seeing "Free Akbar" signs pop up at anti-war demonstrations. Don't be surprised to see money rolling in from terrorist groups as well.

Just heard on Fox News - a second soldier has died as a result of this bastard's perfidy. Please pray for him and his family.

I have it from good sources that Akbar is already in confinement back in the states. More like protective custody. I suspect he'll never live to see a conviction.
