Knights of Columbus to Mark Second Annual Day of Unborn Child in Prayer
New Haven The Knights of Columbus Supreme Council will host a prayer service at St. Mary's Church, New Haven, in observance of the second annual Knights of Columbus Day of the Unborn Child on Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at 8 p.m. The hour-long service, centered around the recitation of the rosary, is scheduled to be televised live by EWTN. March 25, the feast of the Annunciation, was declared Day of the Unborn Child in a unanimously approved resolution at the 2001 Supreme Council convention in Toronto.
Supreme Knight Carl A. Anderson remarked that "The feast of the Annunciation reminds us once again that what we have learned through science can never contradict what has been revealed to us through revelation: That the life of each human being, unique and unrepeatable, begins at the moment of his or her conception. Thus 'the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us' at the Annunciation."
For more than 30 years the Knights of Columbus has been at the forefront of the right to life movement. The Day of the Unborn Child provides an opportunity for Knights around the world to unite in prayer and to further resolve themselves to become, in the words of Pope John Paul II, "a people of life and a people for life."
About St. Mary's Church St. Mary's Church, 5 Hillhouse Avenue, is the oldest Catholic parish in New Haven. In 1882, a 29-year old curate at St. Mary's, Father Michael J. McGivney, founded the Knights of Columbus in the parish hall. Since then, the organization has grown into the largest lay Catholic organization in the world. Father McGivney's cause for sainthood has been opened by the Archdiocese of Hartford, thus granting him the title "Servant of God Michael J. McGivney." Please visit the parish's Website: www.stmarys-priory.com for more information.
About the Knights of Columbus The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families, and young people. With 1.6 million members, the Knights of Columbus at all levels distributes approximately $125 million and 58.9 million hours of service annually to charitable causes. Some DU brain-donor's mom forgot to lock him in his bed. Obscene keywords are being added.

Yes, he has been reported. I've seen that he has been putting the same words on many threads getting out his sexual frustrations. He should find a wife.

Please add me to your ping list as well.
I spoke with my local Knights of Columbus deputee last week, and will join the K of C as soon as we finish painting our house (my wife asked me to wait). I can't think of a more worthwhile fraternal or charitable organization to join.

From a pro life supporter, thanks to the Knights of Columbus for your defense of unborn children.
I a 32nd degree KCCH Mason, and respect your good work.
If the Muslims keep doing what they are doing, one of these days we Christians will all be in the same foxholes fighting them.

Thanks.
Our knights council co-sponsors a Knight/Mason Dinner Dance at an independent hall and donate the money to a local charity, usually the Boys' Club.
