Since there doesn't seem to be much happening at the moment, I'll tell you about a conversation I heard at school today. Two total commie libs, one looked like a professor, the other is a major hippie idiot girl who has been wearing a sign safety pinned to her clothes all week.

The sign says, "The only Bush I support is my" and I can't read the last word (s) because it's always wrinkled or she's sitting down.

Anyhow, I guess the libs have given up on their "War for oil, Bush/Cheney are going to make their oil friends rich" screed. Now the story is that the Bush Family Dynasty OWNS the defense industry! All those bombs have to be replaced you know and the Bush family is going to be richer than rich! Well, she wasn't sure that they were as heavily invested NOW as they (the Bush family) were during WW2, but they're going to get way rich off this war.

Next, they talked about Rummy and being involved with Saddam against Iran. The icky prof guy said (chuckling all the while), "Remember that picture of Rummy and Saddam shaking hands? Since he's about the only person in America who has met Saddam, I'd like to ask him what he's (Saddam) is REALLY like!" They roared with laughter!

How on earth some one can laugh about the character of Saddam Hussein is totally beyond me. I can only assume that they REALLY believe that all the horrible stuff we hear about Saddam is absolute nonsense. We've made it all up and he's really a great guy. Incredible.

The last word is own. I saw some jerk woman holding a sign that said that the other day on my way to work. I think it is the sum total of her world view and probably the reason she thought nothing critical of the Clinton years.
