Did you hear Neil Cavuto say re. the Def. Dept. briefing today that he thought the critical presstitutes were right for criticizing the military plans?

I was listening. Cavuto asked an analyst if the analyst thought the press was out line when they were questioning Donald Rumsfeld and General Myers at a press conference earlier today. The press was implying things were not going well.

Before turning it over to the analyst, Cavuto mentioned that he thought the press had it wrong. The analyst agreed, and commented on how incredibly well things have gone so far.

Cavuto's comment was a little hard to hear, so I can see how it might have been thought to be aimed the other way.

mea culpa! Too many press conferences today. I'm ready to punch the next reporter who claims to "care" about the Iraqi people after ignoring comments from CENTCOM and DOD and CIC re. our (America's, MILITARY - not UN, not left-wing special interest) humanitarian efforts.

Neil closes the show: "It's a wonder our generals don't say, "screw you."" (^:
