Precisely why the UN is NOT the vehicle for after-combat humanitarian aid. It should be the USA.

The UN should be the vehicle for the after-combat humanitarian aid... It will help mend the rift between us and France and Germany and the rest.

We need these countries in the fight against terror. It does not benefit us to cut off the UN or France or Germany. (no matter how much they make us angry...)

But... I don't think we need to go to the UN for further resolutions to fight this war on terror. In that, the UN has proved itself totally worthless.
