Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running over the weekend and Monday, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

Anyone have a quick synopsis of today? Sandstorms galore -- surprise SNOWSTORM in some locations -- Lots of Iraqi stuff blowed up real good -- tons of Iraqi casualties -- minimal coalition losses
Ya know another horrible day in this rapidly losing war in the Quagmire of Iraq (SATIRE!!!!)

Anybody in a mood to give a recap of the past two hours? I stepped out to go to the gym. Iraqi TV.....back on. Is this correct? Any news on the uprising at Basrah? Or the chemical weapons? Is Daschle still saddened?
In catching up I noticed a couple of things: I, too, have noticed that Mansoor Ijaz has not been on Fox recently. Someone said that a lot of times he goes quiet (so to speak) to check his contacts back in the Middle East. His analysis is always exceptional (in my opinion), and I'm sure he will appear when he has some information. He is also often a guest colomnist on National Review, but I have not seen one of his columns in a while either. Secondly, as someone in their early 20's, I can tell you that their is no method in the meaning of calling someone dog. It just emerged. It's kind of like calling someone gee. A friendly greeting so to speak, kind of silly, but nonetheless harmless.

The cool thing about horseradish is you get the former without the latter. >:)
