Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.

This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running over the weekend and Monday, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

No word yet. The Iraqis claim it was just technical difficulties, but they lie as a trade, so who knows.

Regarding Stratfor...they've been right about a few things especially, I believe on their political analysis. I belive they were the first to break the Chirac-Hussein connection. I'm not sure any single source has everyrthing right when trying to see through the "fog of war". I just see it as another set of fog lights. Some are better than others but if you piece enough of these reports together you see the picture a little better.

soldiers girl....when the F$ hit Wichita Falls in '79
it hit in the sw edge of town barrelling right for downtown...as it hit it landed on the main town's driving range...a golf tee and huge ball were the marque location marker and some 8 stories tall....some days later after mayhem , the ball was found in ne oklahoma....a drawing showed a long line veering to the right from start to find.
The newspaper headline was " God plays a slice"

Quite frankly, all networks need to back-off the coverage.
Bring it to me nightly, and break in when something truly significant happens...don't cover every turd some supply camel leaves behind on the road to Baghdad.
We're both desensitizing war, and creating a CNN mentality to the events...we want the war to proceed at a pace that holds the viewer's attention, and that's wrong. The war need tp proceed at whatever pace the field commanders set, and not for the benefit of impatient people back home.
