CNN said Iraqi Tv off air!

>>>It would take 2 weeks or so to get those tanks and other equipment offloaded and manned.
All of them, yes probably. But I would bet they are now stringing the ships to reach port at times of matchup with troops. They don't just show up at the dock.

He's still planning to go on w/inspections!!! Said he hoped the war would be a short one......gotta get on with/keep his pretend job. Isn't it remarkable how everyone who was so obstinate about our not going to war is now slobbering for a piece of the action AFTER we shed our blood, spend our treasure, and win it? Let him have his inspections. Kind of like when you have an uncle with Dimensia who insists on going into the back yard to dig for buried chicken heads, you let him. Kind of pitiful, but no harm done.

Its a T-55 tank, and CNN just said 3000 as well. There were doctors, but no civlians in the hospital

Poor Major is right. He is very angry now. Cavuto interviewing Todd Connor now from Amman Jordan. It is snowing like crazy there and you can see his breath. I had no idea the elements could be so relentless in the Middle East. Must be difficult for travel agents to sell those tours.

You know I was hearing on Fox News last night where this was located. And if it were in a daycare, and we have spec ops/cia in baghdad, what better time to send them in than night.
To: battousai
Is that thunder or bombs going off?I think those were bombs, but what the heck is that constant noise? If I didn't know better, I'd say there was a tank or some other BIG vehicle outside that window...

From Reuters..."At least three powerful blasts rocked the city centre, an area where the television and radio headquarters and transmitters are located."

Hammer and anvil. My guess is the 101st and 82nd will be lifted north of Baghdad.

This is like Atmospheres - snow in Jordan, hurricane in Kuwait, sandstorm in Baghdad...
