But there was a report a few days ago & repeated after yesterday's centcom news conference that we were able to broadcast over Iraqi TV and did so on the 1st or 2nd day of the war. I think it was on Fox.

At least I'm around for this war. The war in Afghanistan was stagnating & we left for vacation. After 2 days or so on the road & no news, we got to our campground, turned on the TV and Mazar-e-Sharif had been taken. People stared at me while I cheered.

Woo! I am gone for half an hour and an uprising starts! Took me nearly 20 minutes to catch up on threads! FR is great!

Major Bob paraphrased says Allied forces MUST go in there. That is the only way we can win these people for good. Even if it's house to house, we must go in strong and with intel and liason. He says again and again we need to be there NOW, if we wait it may be too late.

Major Bob is adamant about this.
