The Hollywood crowd weren't the ones booing last night. It was probably started by the regulars in the balcony. At first people are laughing and then cheering--they are soon shut up and are drown out by all the boos. If the balcony had started cheering, the Hollywood elites would have been whipped into a ecstatic frenzy. They have no backbone.

It did start in the balconies, as well as some cameramen and other labor types!
The loudest boos that started everything came from some police officers and firemen from New York invited there by the documentary on 9/11.
This is why I think Steve Martin made reference to the Teamsters throwing the big fat pig into the trunk of the limo.
There were several others that booed as well, I guess they were not the million dollar stars or directors!
