Apparently they haven't forgiven the U.S. for finding out about they way they robbed the people giving aid to the 9/11 victims.

My response to you was this: My response was really meant directly at you...sorry.
It was suppose to be My response was really NOT meant directly at you...sorry.
I was multitasking...typo.

Ah, yes, the humane Red Cross, which still hasn't distributed all the funds meant to go to the families of those killed on 9/11. Probably still too busy ordering new computer equipment.
Never give a dime to this rip-off "charity." Your money will only be going down a rat hole.

Judging from the picture the rifle is not pointing at the mans temple. There is a soldier kneeling right beside him and the man with the rifle is behind him holding the weapon on the man. If the rifle discharged it would strike him somewhere below the midline of his chest. Center mass.
This whole mess really pisses me off.

The dudes down at GITMO have never been classified as POWs, and if I'm not mistaken are classified as Terrorist Detainees.
To the ICRC, were doing everything we can for the surrendered Iraqi's this side of giving them milk and cookies and singing them a lullaby at night.
Just worry about what's going on there...and we'll worry about what's going on at Guantanemo.
Sheesh.
My Uncle served in WWII...and his hatred for the Red Cross was so intense, he would become physically shaken at the mere mention of the name. He never went into detail (in any regard of his WWII service) but I'm beginning to understand his ire.

After the "Iraqi POW Tape," there can be NO RESTRAINTS on the treatment of Iraqi Prisoners EXCEPT the Individual "Good Will" of the American Soldiers!
ONCE AGAIN, WE MUST BATTLE 'BARBARIANS!'
WHERE is "The Good, Peaceful, 'ISLAM??'"
If the "Good, Tolerant, 'ISLAM'" cannot justify it's "Co-Existence" with a largely "Non-Islamic World," then "ISLAM" MUST BE considered HOSTILE to Human Civilization! "Islam" must accept the "TENETS" of Western Civilization, or be ANNIHILATED!

One can hope that like the EU, NATO, and the UN, the Red Cross will also become a fatally wounded casualty of this war.

Many years ago I used to work for the ARC. I never heard much about the IRC unless there was an annual meeting or seminar in Switzerland. The IRC presence in the everyday activity of ARC is not that penetrating. My day to day work was more effected by the national hdqts in Washington DC. I'm not saying they are not affiliated. The IRC is like a hub for a network of ARCs all over the world. ARC chapters in the US get most of their money locally and that is where they do most of their work. There is some independance, but they do have the same mission.

Message sent:
Good evening.
Your organization has just hit a new low. To compare a photograph from an independent news source to the grizzly photos released by Iraq is moral relativism at its worse.
Have you seen the Iraq video? I don't believe so. Perhaps you should. Then maybe you would not be so inane as to compare giving a soldier needed water in the desert to giving him a hole in the head.
I have to tell you that after the 9-11 fiasco and then this idiocy, you will not be seeing any further donations from me. I will be doubling my donations to the Salvation Army.
Thank you.

The Red Cross is just a mercinary, lying organization, which is almost worthless. They even gave WW II servicemen and their families, a hard time during WW II ! It has gotten worse since then. No one, NO ONE should ever give a penny to the Red Cross; not ever !
