If Iraq resists and devastating new explosives, which our military has been testing at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, are dropped on Baghdad, there will be massive civilian deaths and charges of war crimes fueled by anger at American arrogance. Hint to Roberts and those who think like him: THE FRIGGIN REST OF THE WORLD ISN'T GONNA LIKE US UNLESS WE CUT OURSELVES OFF AT THE KNEES.

They just printed this guy on their op-ed page as a voice of the anti-war right. He does not reflect Washington Times editorial views.

Bush might indeed be in trouble for starting this on a phony pretext if (1) the missiles we've already found weren't out of compliance, (2) the missiles fired at us weren't out of compliance, (3) we find no evidence of any chemical or biological programs, and (4) nothing is shot at us in the meantime that is out of compliance. Inasmuch as (1) and (2) are already nonstarters and (3) is starting to look a little bad for Blix, I don't think Bush and his are losing any sleep over it. If (4) happens, phony pretexts will be the least of our problems.

For once the people's ignorance may actually be more correct than the "intellectuals". I heard some authoress the other night saying that the folks who materminded 911 were from Kuwait, and the same family. Her allegation was that those individuals don't exist anymore and that Ramsy Yousef and KSM are actually Iraqi intel operatives. Sounds good to me.

Unpatriotic just because they're against the war? Not good enough. I'm against the war, but I would never make the ridiculous comparison to Hitler that this guy does. I'm more interested/worried by the potential fabrication of evidence...

That would be Laurie Mylroie, and I think she was talking about the 1993 WTC bombing. The 9/11 masterminds were mostly Saudis.
