I feel you are right about Elijah Wood.
It was reported on one of the "Rings"/cast crew link web sites (which one I don't know) that he says he is a Christian and is to use the gifts that God has given him for good.
He is young and also in the environment of Hollywood.
Much of his body of work has some good moral messages. Then there are others, like in this last release, "Ash Wednesday", where they are difficult to find. Dif. not a family movie...but does have a great Christian song playing while the credits roll. What the movie is trying to convey, I have no idea.
Elijah says "Lord Of The Rings" changed his life and that he has settled down a good bit. And I would imagine being on a jet leaving NYC for LA on the morning of 9/11, as he was, could really add to it.
Anyway, pray for the guy, I think he is trying.

Elijah says "Lord Of The Rings" changed his life and that he has settled down a good bit. He pretty much had to spend every day with Astin for 18 months, so maybe that exerted a good influence on him.
