LOTR, especially 'The Two Towers' has a lot of propaganda value. It's all anti-pacifist, though.
"Those without swords can still die on them," and other warnings against appeasement are right up front :)

I think King Theoden's line of "How did it come to this?", in reference to how is it that Rohan is so close to the brink of destruction, is pretty damned applicable to current times as I find myself asking the same question. The answer being that nobody bothered to do anything about this evil when it was still a lesser threat. Like Rohan, we sat back and did nothing while this threat grew and grew til it reached the proportions which it did. Thankfully it hasn't reached "They are 10,000 strong" proportions, but the danger's pretty great with the threat of chemical, biological, and even nuclear weapons used on American soil.

I also liked Grima Wormtongue. Talk about the perfect representation of the Chirac/Schroeder position. The best part was when he asked for proof and Eomer through down a helmet with the white hand of Saruman on it (I.E. Powell went to the UN to present the evidence of Iraq's WMD's). Grima then ranted on about his being a warmonger. I'm surprised he didn't mention how bad Eomer was for wanting to launch a unilateral war against Saruman.
