There are sound engineers, visual effects people, and the like who get to show up to these awards shows to pick up their trophy as well. It was probably these middle class Joe's who were doing the booing.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! We socked it to those jerks with the blowdried hair and fancy tuxedos and beautiful gowns. They may be pretty to look at but they're decadent on the inside. And in the last year they've become repulsive to watch as well. As for the Oscars' stinky ratings, let me just put it this way: they got exactly what they deserved.

My daughter buys all the celebrity magazines, and my impression is that most of the gowns are NOT beautiful - they are generally mediocre-to-bizarre-to-ugly, and I find very few of the women attractive - a bunch of twigs with no personalities.
