The soldier being held in a deadly grenade attack on a 101st Airborne Division command center in Kuwait spent much of his youth in California and was described by family and friends Sunday as a brilliant student and mild-mannered practicing Muslim.

I suppose "mild-mannered" Muslims roll grenades into the tents of their own fellow soldiers. I wonder what the more "ill-mannered" types would do?

The Los Angeles Times reported in Monday's newspaper that soldiers after the attack overheard Akbar say: "You guys are coming into our countries and you're going to rape our women and kill our children."

Akbar has been identified as the suspect in the attack, but has not been charged. The grenade and automatic weapon attack early Sunday left one soldier dead and 15 wounded.

He should have been summarily executed.

"I would have to see him do that in order to believe it,"Hasan said."I don't see it in his character. A guy's character follows him throughout his life. I don't see how he could change that drastically."

I can. He embraced an evil, violent religion known as Islam.

"He said, Mama, when I get over there I have the feeling they are going to arrest me just because of the name that I have carried."

They're trying the make HIM the victim.

Oh, that goes without saying!

As-Salaam-Waliakum my beloved brothers and sister,

My name is Hasan Karim Akbar. When I was growing up in Louisiana there were only about two other Muslim families. We may of had a few Hadith books between us, but not many. We all were African-Americans and at one time or another in the so-called Nation-of-Islam. May Allah have mercy on my parents for being me into that organization and may Allah have mercy on me for accepting it. Therefore, we were not opperating with an incredible amount of Islamic knowledge.

I have read in The Holy Quran many times that the people of the Book will have nothing to fear if they believe in Allah, do righteous deeds and believe in the hereafter. Now, some brothers who have come to speak at the local Islamic Center say that the people of the Book and all people are going to hellfire no matter how good they may act, because they are not Muslims. They explained that the verse that says that they will have nothing to fear is to counter the Jews who say that goodness is hereditary. I have mention that there are some people who do not know anything about Islam and they insist that they are going to hell too. Now when I say that there are people who do not know anything about Islam, I mean that they really do not know anything about it. But Allah knows what they reveal and what they conceal. There are also other verses that say the same. I have always read that the people who are going to be fuel for Hell Fire are the rejectors of the Truth. One can not reject something one has never had contact with. Also, what level of contact with Islam does a non-Muslim have to have to be considered a rejector to the Truth.

{May Allah, the Most Just, the Most Wise, the All-Knowing, the Most Merciful, guide us to the straight path and make us the people who will reestablish the Islamic State and make deen above all other ways of life. Amen}

As-Salaam-Waliakum

Any more information on this "Bilal Mosque" that Akbar belonged to?

See thread post #33 :

post #33, that Asan Akbar's mosque is under the leadership of Imam W. Deen Mohammed, the son of Elijah Muhammad, founder of Nation of Islam, as well as being financed by Saudi money. Saudi-NoI connection
