RABAT, D.C., Morocco, Mar 24, 2003 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- A Moroccan publication accused the government Monday of providing unusual assistance to U.S. troops fighting in Iraq by offering them 2,000 monkeys trained in detonating land mines.
The weekly al-Usbu' al-Siyassi reported that Morocco offered the U.S. forces a large number of monkeys, some from Morocco's Atlas Mountains and others imported, to use them for detonating land mines planted by the Iraqis.
The publication quoted a highly-informed source as saying, "that is not a scientific illusion but a well-known military tactic."

And the San Miguel was good. If you drank enough of it, you could $hit through a screen door and not get any on the wire.

Yessir. A case or 10 of San Magoo, "Mystery Meat" on a stick, and a game of Smile at the local watering hole. Nothing better ;)

Man, and I haven't had monkey meat since Angeles City, 1981 ... goes good with some San Miguel (actually, a LOT of San Miguel).
At least you won't look at me strange if I mention monkey meat...the last I had it myself was in Olongopo in '83.
I'd love to find a place that made lumpia though!
That and an ice cold San Miguel with a thin frosting of ice on the top...
No baloot for me though.

Too funny! "Monkey business" for sure.

Ah yes. My favorite line from 'Dumb and Dumber"
"They've got the Monkeys....they were a major influence on the Beatles"
I guess you have to see and hear Jim Carrey's inflection on that one. It's right before Seabass buys the boys lunch.
